Just like anything else, rifles should be taped and ready before practice starts. To tape a rifle you're going to need a few things. You'll need some STRAPPING TAPE, WHITE ELECTRICAL TAPE, PHILIPS HEAD SCREW DRIVER, and some padding.

1)Take off the bolt with the screw driver.

2)With the strapping tape, tape over any bruised up areas of your rifle and make sure to keep the tape flat and avoid air bubbles.

3)Also tape around the center (the part under your bolt) to strengthen it from cracks

4)Use the cushioning to cover the tip and butt. (you can use a feminine pad, or paper towels)

5)Cover the tip and butt with electrical tape and make sure your cushion stuff is in place.

6)Replace the bolt and screw it in tightly.
